VETERANS HOME IN REDDING,
SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

A Fresno developer handed the north state veterans home a plater.Jon Thomas donated 43 acres to the City of Redding for a Veterans Home. The land sits on a bluff along Knighton Road above Churn Creek

Tuesday September 28, 2004: The Governor of California signed a measure providing Million in lease-revenue bonds to complete veterans homes in Redding and four other cities. Work may begin in 2006-2007.
